We recommend that the information that you include on this side of the program be independent to the season. Use the season details on the right (configurable in the dashboard) to include details specific to the season. This text block should just be a short, 2-3 sentence description of your program.

League Goals

The goal of the In-House League is to provide a fun, safe, and structured environment where players can develop their skills and enjoy the game. The program emphasizes effort, improvement, and learning through consistent ice time and balanced competition. Players are encouraged to build confidence, understand the game, and grow within a team setting while developing accountability, teamwork, and respect. The focus remains on development and overall experience, ensuring that every player has the opportunity to participate, improve, and enjoy hockey, rather than prioritizing winning at all costs.

The In-House program is for players in the following age groups: 8U, 10U, 12U, 16U (14U/16U combined)

When

The In-House program operates year round with 3 seasons.

  • Spring/Summer (May - Aug)
  • Fall (Sept - Dec)
  • Winter (Jan - Apr)

Where

All Practices and games are held at Clearwater Ice Arena.

Practices

Practices are Friday evenings starting at 5pm-5:30pm going until 8pm-10pm.

Note: Practice time is based on the age group, younger age groups practice earlier.

  • Practices are designed using the USA Hockey ADM model, focusing on station-based training to maximize repetitions, build skills, and develop strong habits. This approach keeps players engaged while allowing for more individualized development within a team setting. Players are grouped by skill level during practices and gameplay to ensure fair, balanced competition and to create the best environment for learning and progression.

Games

Games are mostly played on Saturdays, with the occasional Sunday game. Game times do vary, they can start as early as 11am and as late as 8pm.

Important: 8U games are typically around 2:30 pm. The time does not vary as much as the other age groups.

Jerseys

All players will receive a jersey for the season, sizes are first come served.

USA Hockey

Everyone is required a valid USA Hockey Number to register, those numbers expire on August 31st of every year.
